I love the demo so far! I've been holding my breath for a turn-based RPG on Playdate. And it being a light-hearted game about cooking with Earthbound vibes is all the better!
I did find some bugs and have some comments. What's a good way to get them to you? Just post em here?
The only bug I had was the first time I went back to the spaceship/RV, I saved and then couldn't leave the spaceship. I had to close and re-open from the save. I have not been able to recreate it, though. Other than that, I noticed a lot more slowdown and stuttering the longer I was in the game.

After reading your devlog, I may have had the crank out. Just noticed the staircase disappears when the crank is out. Nice touch!
Fuck yeah! This is impressive. Few stutters here and there after 10 minutes or so of progress. Sadly I didn't read this page at all and just began playing and now that I know I can fly in space I need to do so immediately! 👍
